Chestnut lumber

Chestnut is a core species for Vela: from the same lumber we also produce our own chestnut herringbone flooring in-house. Natural durability class 2 (EN 350): suitable for less protected uses even untreated, with appropriate installation care.

Note tannin reacts with unprotected metal fasteners during processing — we flag this on every custom order.
